The Agedashi tofu & Beef tataki were superb. The chicken kaarage was crispy on the outside & tender inside, but I thought it needed more seasoning. The service was friendly but not terribly polished. I'd happily eat the tofu & beef again.

Claypot beef: steak, saffron rice, bone marrow. The claypot contains the steak sliced on top of the saffron rice, and toped with what we thought was crispy rice vermicelli. The bone marrow was served still in bone that had been cut lengthways in half.

Shio (salt base) ramen is way less common in Auckland than miso, shoyu or tonkotsu ramen, but I really like it. The clear broth looks simple but with simple there's nowhere to hide.
