This book was a bit better than book 1. The character motivations made more sense. But the reveal at the end was utterly unsurprising.

There was not a single character that I enjoyed the story of in this book. Everyone was just the worst possible and nothing answered the questions I had in a way I feel actually worked. Just such an wtf did I just read story.
