#Aulwen ‘s appearance comes from Diana from LoL and it just so happened that Selûne is the moonmaiden, so there’s some inspiration there. His personality partially comes from Ash and mixed in with my personal experiences w religion.

#Aulwen might rarely feel down but with his character arc, he would likely find a quiet place to meditate to the moon and talk to Her.

#Aulwen - Aasimar. Son of Selûne. Exiled because his mother is horrified with his fanatic tendencies. Despite being crazy he is (hopefully) capable of loving. Cunning, wise, dominating and will be violent if provoked. Old man looks young because divine being.

#Aulwen has no regrets, but his fears are deeply rooted in his strained relationship with his mother. He despises her “weakness”, but following his exile, he wants nothing more than to have her welcome him back, but he won’t admit this and will be in denial.

#Aulwen on the other hand thinks Seiryn is corrupted and deserves death. “My kin he might be, but light shall always surpass his nightly goddess, if one can call her as such. Night always turns to day. It is he who is misguided. In his death, Mother shall welcome me back.”

#Seiryn is more measured, so he allows #Aulwen to be as he is. He doesn’t hold the term “kin” strongly, Aulwen is viewed just as any other follower of Selune, though in this case Aulwen has been granted exile. In this instance, Seiryn finds it moreso sorrowful. (1/?)

#Aulwen is difficult, if he’s protecting you he loves you. Same with #Solazen. Their notions of love is very different than what is common.
