Kodiak Robotics Strengthens Autonomous Truck Platform with Integration of NXP Automotive Processors and Networking Solutions
Kodiak Robotics, Inc. has announced a collaboration with NXP® Semiconductors that brings NXP’s advanced automotive processors and in-vehicle networking technologies into Kodiak’s autonomous system architecture. By integrating these solutions, Kodiak aims to further boost the performance, reliability, and safety of its self-driving trucks. The NXP solutions—comprising the S32G3 vehicle network processor, the S32K3 microcontroller, the VR5510 multi-channel high-voltage power management IC (PMIC), and the PF53 core supply regulator—are embedded in the Kodiak Actuation Control Engine (ACE).
