Avolon Orders 100 New LEAP-1A Engines to Power Expanding A320neo Fleet
Dubai Airshow 2025 – Avolon has placed an order for 100 LEAP-1A engines from CFM International, securing powerplants for 50 Airbus A320neo aircraft in its fleet plan, the companies announced at the Dubai Airshow on November 17. The agreement reinforces Avolon’s long-term strategy of investing in next-generation, fuel-efficient aircraft as global airline demand recovers. CFM International, the joint venture behind the LEAP engine family, will supply the engines to support Avolon’s growing orderbook of A320neo jets.
