Panel 2: Drift appears to have some kind of a thought Panel 3: Present-day Drift snorts to herself Panel 4: Avid looks back up at Drift, "Oh, no no, I'm not really picking the flowers. I'm after the leaves." Panel 5: Drift looks at him in surprise, "The leaves?" Panel 6: Avid gets to his feet, "Yes, this is yarrow." Panel 7 & 8: The dialogue overlaps over both of these panels continuously. Avid hands Drift a leaf, who takes it in her hand and looks at it puzzled. "Well, I mean the flowers are alright, I'm not planning to discard them or anything. I can still use them, they're not that dissimilar to chamomile—but the leaves are an astringent." Panel 9: Avid awkwardly scratches at his neck bandages, "They, uh. If you crush them you can use them to stop wounds bleeding." Panel 10: Present-Drift turns her face away into the shadows Panel 11: Past drift exclaims "Woah, thats so cool!"

Avid's character from Vampires SMP, a half-vampire-half-demon. He stands, hunched over, looking angrily at the viewer. The upper-right quarter of his body has been taken over by a demonic curse, spreading from an old wound on his neck, turning that portion of his skin black and his right eye yellow with no pupil. He has grown a demon tail and a single horn from the right side of his forehead, and his right arm has turned demonic as well. The rest of his body remains vampiric, with a red left eye, white hair, fangs, and claws. His clothes and cloak are torn and tattered from being attacked, but he visibly has no wounds due to his vampiric healing.
