Whether she could or not, Emily would probably try to change what happened to her home of Tolmalit--like maybe pushed past Photios' distraction so she could stop Curtis before his actions destroyed her home.
It would change a ton... some for the better, some for the worse.
Ok, so, ha, I write about time travel but to the future, so this is a funny one.
Dean (our intrepid time traveller) would go back in time to stop himself from going to the future. Because it just ruins everything- the entire world suffers because of this ding dong.

Another question I'm not sure I can answer for many of my MCs.
Rider might be tempted, but I don't think he'd choose to go back. Scars are meant to be scars.
He has many regrets, but those were choices he made. The guilt, the scars that can't be healed, are part of his existence.
I'm pretty certain Ash would go back in time and beat the shit out of his ex. Or maybe himself for considering dating said ex. Maybe both!
(And, yes, the ex would deserve it.)

There's only one event Denala would change: The destruction of the village of Bont. But that's a huge change. Without that, Denala never becomes a wizard, Clariss probably never becomes a priest, they definitely never meet, and they aren't there to stop Tezzar's cult.
