Hailey's fave flower: Not lavenders, the fields of them outside Lin J'Roe don't sit well with her. Probably chrysanthemums because they remind her of her mom.

Rei grew up in a part of Kythe that didn't have much greenery. The Morsidae weren't big on plants given their association with death (poisons often being the source of their own cure, even deadly plants weren't big). So just seeing a lot of green would be a big deal. #AwesomeCharacters #writesky

He ran his fingers along the shelves and spines of books, drawing lines in the dust, trying to erase the time it took for the dirt to gather. He slid out a book and opened it with such reverence, anyone else would suspect it held the crown jewels. The corners of his mouth twitched a fraction, and his eyes softened. "Home," he whispered to himself, taking the pressed rosemary from the pages and spinning it between his fingers. The scent tickled his nose, and he but his lip against his shuddering breath. Clary is also very fond of rosemary. It was her mother's favorite because it always reminded her mother of home & Clary, too, associated it with home. Her boys not only associate it with home, as well, but also her.

This is an easy one! Lamya's favorite is the Blue Lily, which may look a little different in the #Infernulls world, but for the most part it's about the same. Her adoptive father, Osbeohrt, used to weave them into her hair because she'd find them so pretty.

One of my other characters, Alicia Cadwell, is associated, by her mother, with the daffodil flower. It has a double meaning, a symbol of Persephone & for Easter (in Greek Christianity). Representing Life & Resurrection.

This could be another thread because plants and flowers feature quite heavily in parts of my series. There are the expected ways, like rooms filled with flowers for romantic moments (looking directly at Kyan there), but gardens are important to several of my cast.

This just reminds me I need to actually start giving names to the plants in the fantasy WIP. Ash brings back seeds from the big tree city to decorate a new home, I just don't have a name. He'd definitely prefer something that grows food, but he wouldn't care for it himself. 1/2

Mana is found of lavender and would be very pleased with an offering of them. They'd end up either on her workbench or in the bedroom for the soothing scent.🪻
