She worked at CERN at the same time as Tim Berners-Lee. Mistakenly people often say Berners-Lee invented 'the internet' but this is incorrect as the internet already existed. Berners-Lee created HTML, HTTP and URIs.

I rarely listen to #BBCDesertIslandDiscs, but left the radio on, as it was David Nicholls, and because I hoped he might select 'who knows where the time goes'. And he did!

He was as lovely as I expected.
