Like most Elturan tieflings who aren't Hellriders (in my HC), Minuet grew up poor. The family relied on money brought in from her father's, and then siblings' performances, which never seemed to be enough. After her mother's death, it fell on her to manage the household. #Tavember #BG3Minuet #BG3

Minuet was taught at a community school for tiefling children. The teachers, all human clergy of Torm, thought she was a difficult student from a combination of her being stubborn, mute, and her questioning their teachings. She got smacked on the knuckles quite a bit. #Tavember #BG3Minuet #BG3

Minuet's birth was long and hard on her mother, lasting more than a day and involving the costly intervention of a cleric. Her father, being a selfish ass, did not help them.
