This morning on the way into work I heard a review on RightBrainRollers and it sounded suspiciously themed like @gilhova.bsky.social’s Battle Merchants.

Another favorite game from #bggcon was Explorers of Navoria. We played this 3 times and included the expansion for the last play. Nice medium light exploration, bag selection, and tableau builder with cute Root-style art as well. I hope to pick this one up soon!

I’m slowly recapping my time at #bggcon and starting with one of my favorite games of the con! Arcs is a fascinating game using trick taking as the action selection and scoring mechanism while at the same time building space ports and ships and blowing up your neighbors.

We tried valiantly to learn Zombicide:Green Horde during #bggcon2024, but ultimately packed it back up about three turns in because it was almost impossible to parse the rules around the necromancer. Ain’t nobody got time for that. #boardgames
