Schools Rugby: Coleraine Grammar 41 Belfast Royal Academy 28 Squad Friendly After getting held up by a few band parades on the way I eventually made it to Coleraine for the Senior squad hit out between Coleraine Grammar and Belfast Royal Academy on a damp Saturday morning. Unfortunately I was unable to get scorer details from either school before I had to leave for my next match so it's a brief report.

Schools Cup: Belfast Royal Academy 15 Wallace High School 28 Semi Final On Wednesday afternoon Kingspan Stadium hosted the second semi final of the Schools Cup between Belfast Royal Academy and Wallace High School. Unlike the day before it was grey and overcast and rain threatened. Quinn Armstrong opened the scoring for Wallace In their first real attack of the game the large Wallace pack made ground into the BRA 22. Quinn Armstrong found a gap to score under the posts to make Josh Geddis’ conversion a formality and put Wallace 7-0 up in 4 minutes.

Medallion Plate: Belfast Royal Academy 24 Royal School Dungannon 25 Quarter Final On Saturday morning Royal School Dungannon were the visitors to Roughfort to play Belfast Royal Academy in the quarter final of the Medallion Plate. A deceptively strong wind blew down the pitch, initially in Dungannon’s favour. Dungannon were the first to strike, when Charlie Stimson was driven over from a lineout maul to give them a 5-0 lead, after 7 minutes.

Schools Cup: Methodist College 26 Belfast Royal Academy 43 We caught up with the Ulster Schools Cup match between Methodist College and Belfast Royal Academy at Pirrie Park on Saturday morning. MCB got proceedings underway, the sun on their backs, out half Louis Curran sending a low scudder into the BRA pack. Both sides exchanged blows before BRA drew first blood after right wing Caleb McWhinney rounded the MCB defence before cutting back to the posts to make the conversion easier for the kicking scrum half Connor McVicker.

Charlie Clark is congratulated after scoring his second try for Campbell Campbell got off to a good start with an early try from Charlie Clark, converted by Harry Wells for a 7 - 0 lead after six minutes.
