Tonight's #BSG2025: GOD the first cpl eps of s1 are exactly the pure chef kiss genius I remembered, just nailbiting tension and raw desperation and yet cute character moments all over the place anyway
and I still adore the religion angle so much?? it is so WEIRD and yet somehow spooky and luminous?
I just...I HAD FORGOTTEN HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS AND HOW EXCELLENT IT WAS and how unsparing it is about ppl making brutal inhuman choices in the name of saving humanity
all under the shadow of "there comes a day when you can no longer hide from the things you've done"
#BSG2025
I feel EXTREMELY VINDICATED by the degree to which she is into it, 20 year geek parenting achievement UNLOCKED
and also, needless to say, MY GOD WHAT A GREAT SHOW
and how depressingly timely, esp w Baltar first showing up as a smarmy tech bro defending AI
#BSG2025
Ahhhhhhhh just watched the BSG pilot ep with 16yo 🤌🤌🤌🤌
whose extremely correct opinions include that Starbuck and Prez Roslin are both her wives
"I'm the First Lady of the Colonies dawg what do you want??
Also Gaius needs to learn to say not now to his freaky Cylon girlfriend :/"

I've had a wonderful day at #BSG2025 - gerontology showing itself to be such a refreshingly interdisciplinary field. And I spotted #StudyingGenerations on the @policypress.bsky.social bookstand!
Such a delicious research project #Hoppiness 🌱🌾🍺
