BSoG researchers release landmark report on deep industrial emission reductions in Belgium On 18 September 2025, BSoG-VUB researchers Tomas Wyns, Stijn Van der Perre and Gauri Khandekar presented the DEEPIN - Deep Industrial Emission Reductions for Belgium Report.

🔍 Researchers from BSoG's Centre for Environment, Economy and Energy led a landmark study on how Belgium’s industry can cut CO₂ emissions by 2040–2050. Analysing 90 technologies, the report shows that a carbon-neutral industry is within reach:
