Printed some upgrades for the printer today, a do-dad for removing the tubes, a bigger poop bin, an arm for the external spool holder (in case we want to use some exotic filaments) and a little guide to help get the plate on easier

The second package from Bambu Labs arrived and guess who is the numpty that forgot to add the top mount screws to the order, this guy!
Still the cool plate and glue should help for some adhesion issues

The upgrade that Lindsay & Megan bought has arrived, but alas the package with a new cool plate and the screws to attach it to the top of the printer, have been delayed by @dpd.uk until at least tomorrow

The Moon Knight mask is a challenge, made some adjustments & added some beefy supports, hopefully this time it works, it’s added 12 hours on to the print, making it a 36 hour one, & will need some more white filament, but we can get there!

This print isn’t going so well, one of the supports keeps getting knocked off, so going to clean the plate again and adjust some settings to see if we can get a successful print

Excellent. I’m in need of one or two replacements for mine. Time to fire up the #BambuA1
And now I will only ever call it a Socktopus.
3D printing waste. Grey, blue and orange squiggles of hardened PLA. Approx 2cm3 in small balls. These are a byproduct of 3D printing, excreted when it purges the hot end. They are absolute hell on unshod feet. Sharp, tough and they get absolutely everywhere.
