ATX City Council Member Ryan Alter said he will halt efforts to secure more money to replace the historic Zilker/Barton Springs Road bridge until he is convinced that demolition is the only option.

The Council needs to go back to the drawing board with this project, and step one is getting buy-in from the community. 

Right now, that is sorely lacking.
