Who TF decided years ago that a balls-out shootout on the superspeedway at 200mph should be replaced by a Best Buy parking lot turning contest? Is there lead in the water at HQ? NASCAR is over.

Mika Salo, who turns 58 today, was an underrated #F1 driver IMHO. Quick in Tyrrells (’95-97) & Arrows (’98), he was a great supersub in ’99 for BAR & Ferrari, outdriving Jacques Villeneuve then Eddie Irvine. He also won 14 #AmericanLeMans races & the #Bathurst12Hours in Ferraris.
