Body Found in Gulfport’s Bayou Bernard Under Investigation
Gulfport, MS (BuzzReport) - A death investigation is currently underway in Gulfport after a body was discovered floating in Bayou Bernard on Monday afternoon. According to the Gulfport Police Department, the body was reported by a boater around 1 p.m. Responding to the scene, the Gulfport Fire Department and the Department of Marine Resources assisted police in recovering the body. Three boats were deployed at the Gulfport Lake Boat Launch around 2 p.m., and the body was brought ashore approximately an hour later.
