A settle with an injured leg holding a naginata is hiding in a house from a beak-thing. The beak-thing is peering through the bars of their window while saying "Please. Come out."

Made a bit of Kenshi fanart.

Normally beak-things can't speak. However the idea of them talking is so horrid I can't help but love it.

Perhaps this is a hallucination from the blood-loss.
