It's a slightly mysterious image with no real sense of the space in totality. Mount Fuji is back and it's not cloudy today. I've increased the sharpening a bit on small details to accent some of the snowy trails that run down the sides of the great volcano. It's a simple but perhaps alluring photograph.

On each side of the frame, sets of diagonal stairwells emerge on 3 different floors, each illuminated by flourescent tube lighting, with a larger tube light much closer to us in distance. There is slightly futuristic, surreal atmosphere to this mesh of empty, metal stairwells and the vertical barriers before them, a vacancy of patterned utilities that are not currently in use by anyone.
