The image features a hand holding a book with a vibrant cover against a background of leafy green plants and a large yellow mug. The book has a purple cover with illustrations of a man and woman standing back-to-back, both holding weapons. The woman is depicted in bright pink overalls, while the man is in black clothing. Green zombie hands reach from the edges toward the center figures. Above them, a quote reads, "Love can make you lose your head." The background plants have large striped leaves, and the yellow mug has a dark handle. Overlaid text in the image points to features like "Plus Size FMC," "Zombies," and "Vampire."

Bright Pink Background, Black Letters at top “ Book Review”. white box with review: Edie is a human and she realizes that the zombie alert system has come down and her frat bro neighbor, Chad is not actually Chad. Instead he is a French Vampire named Gaston (aka Max). These two end up working together to combat zombies, facing what might be putting the zombies in motion. They encounter adventure troop girls, witches, trolls, fae, and so much more.

I loved this one so much! The banter between Max and Edie had me laughing so hard. Especially the Gaston song parts.😂 The gory parts didn't bother me. Something about reading them vs watching them. I liked the topics in the book too that Olivia brought in grief, loneliness, and putting up walls to protect oneself.

I always appreciate the way Olivia writes fat rep and how body positive they are and body neutral. I really loved seeing a zombie book with a plus size main character it made my heart happy.

Let's finish this by shouting out the narrator, Joy Nash. I adore Joy and the way she brings the characters to life. She added to the humor to me and I found myself laughing harder. Highly recommend the audio but make sure to grab the physical because it glows in the dark.

Thank you to @PRHaudio for a free audiobook. Thanks for the free physical book @BerkleyPub”
