Originally, it was owned by a former coworker that killed himself after numerous late night phone calls from his now widow encouraging him to do so. Once he shot himself, her and her new boyfriend immediately sold the home and moved back to Nebraska. It was sold to Invitation Homes as a rental property. They find the very first renters they could get into the home..a pothead couple. Every other night was EDM parties until 1 or 2am with weed gassing out the nearby homes. Fortunately, they finally moved out just last month, 12FEB25. Unfortunately, after 2 or 3 days of Invitation Homes trucks stopping by to get the home ready ... ... for next renters, 3 or 4 random trashy cars showed up and moved right in... all but 1 had no license plates and were spray painted over, most likely stolen. For the last 2 weeks I've been on the phone DAILY with Invitation Homes to get these nasty bums out ASAP. All Invitation Homes has done is tell me it's up to the court process. (In the 2 weeks time they've sent out 1 truck for the guy to put up a 3-day notice of eviction... and follow up 3 days later. Both times nobody answered the door... of course.) This morning, I was called at work by Invitation Homes. She was giving me the same scripted BS. I asked how can 1 look up the court proceedings? I was told it's with Pierce County so cal them and see. I did after that call..the last court filing with Invitation Homes in Pierce County was 2 years ago. There isn't any filing for the property next door. I called back to see wtf is going on and local 206 number forwarded me to Dallas (the company's HQ & call center). The guy said he can't see who called or confirm what was said/noted about the call.. its only local offices. Like the one that forwarded me to Dallas. The company is pathetic. It needs to be shut down ASAP. Desired settlement: GET THE SQUATTERS OUT OF YOUR PROPERTY AND FIX YOUR COMPANY'S IGNORANT POLICIES/CALL CENTER PROCESSES. For over a year, GoNetSpeed kept e-mailing me and sending me post mail about singing up for their service. They also took a pre-order (*********** **). I still get emails telling me "coming soon", and now that they are 1/2 (half) a mile from my home, their website claims they are not building here. I called and they "claim" it is coming, but admit they seem to have stopped by the cemetery just down the street from me.
My review was published on the "Better Business Bureau" website, with the understanding that I post a new review, should things change.
The BBB did moderate my review to exclude my location, though.
