It rained a lot, the news was miserable, but now it’s light in the morning, there are flowers and blossom everywhere and spring is just around the corner

Went to our first Bristol Festival of Light installation at 5pm today.
It’s wonderful (ragged sculptures with shadows that look like ballet dancers). But because it’s February, we were too early and it was still broad daylight

Woke up to full-blown daylight! First time in months… #BigFebruary

And pretty much level with May, June and July. February: one of the less rainy months (unbelievably)

It’s been a pretty inauspicious start to #BigFebruary, let’s be honest, but here are some snowdrops
In a cabin in a canyon w/ no direct sunlight from +/- beginning of November to +/- beginning of February, I am totally vibing w/ #BigFebruary excitement
The other thing about #BigFebruary is that you can see the birds in the trees. Every blue tit, every crocus is a bit more special in Feb because it has the stage to itself (and because you had to wait so long for it)
