Flag of the City of Victoria, that is frankly pretty boring, because it’s just the city’s crest smack in the middle of a field of aqua. Traditional, in a way, but dead boring in actuality.
In less than eight hours, I will be on an island. The city’s motto is SEMPER LIBER, or Latin for “forever free,” which seems fitting as I am on holiday.

7 rectangular slices of sponge cake, all in cardboard surrounds, sitting on a tray, under a plastic lid. The slices all have swirly pink cream icing on top. At the two ends of the icing are 2 blueberries, and in the middle are a couple of slices of strawberry. Right on top of the strawberry slices are what looks to be a little sprig of baby nettle leaves? (Well, it's probably not coriander or flat leaf parsley, or mint; I've no idea what it may be.) To the right is a little sign reading "Vimto cake, £4.50".
