Listening again to Pat Metheny opened that flood of acoustic players. This unique #BillConnors acoustic album "Theme To The Gaurdian" came to mind. It's not classical, it's not swing jazz-but has those elements&improvisation-sparsely lyrical-often allowing quieter moments of rich chords interplay.
