Axle is great at fixing things–gadgets, traps, vibes. He’s popular, flirty, and always ready to throw hands for his friends (or flirt with a hot aswang). He grew up side by side with his twin sister Alex, but likes to act like he’s the cooler twin (he’s not).

The level-headed one of the group. BF’s got the best aim, a calm mind in a crisis, and a soft spot for his chaotic friends. He’s an archery athlete and a natural leader (even if he doesn’t always mean to be).

The Ugaws are the backbone of Birilngan’s agriculture. They tirelessly cultivate grains and crops, not only for their own families but to feed much of Birilngan. #BirilnganComics
The primary residents of Barangay Umhanan are the Ugaws, a hardworking and industrious people with a unique ability to shrink themselves at will. In their small form, they move with incredible speed, allowing them to complete tasks efficiently. #BirilnganComics
I hav a dilemma. I want to write #BirilnganComics in english so a wider audience can potentially enjoy it. But I also want it in Filipino to honor my heritage BUT ALSO i want to write it in Winaray as I am Waray and the Birilngan mythology is of waray origin.
Okay okay i think ive figured out a design that gives off 'royal vibes' and isn't exhausting to draw over and over for comics. How do we like it?

According to legend, uttering the real name Biringan brings you misfortune. Others say it opens you up to the supernatural. Out of respect for this belief, I’ve chosen to title my story Birilngan, which loosely translates to 'where the lost can be found' #BirilnganComics

Haddi Lantay is the ruler of Birilngan. He was appointed Haddi by the Birilnganons when he saved the city from 'the rot'.
I realise now i may have shot myself in the foot as I have to draw this complex design over and over and over in the comics 🙃
