The rocky trail on Bishop's Peak in San Luis Obispo. That is Cerro San Luis in the background. Both mountains are part of the Nine Sisters, a line of volcanic plugs.

Two very large boulders are nearly touching each other along the trail. The trail squeezes through these two rocks. Beyond the rocks you can see another mountain in the distance under a blue, but hazy sky.

This is from my hike yesterday up Bishop's Peak. The trail squeezes between those two rocks with a view beyond.

Looking up at the top of the mountain which is all rock from about half way up. There is a dirt trail to the left, a grassy hill to the right, and oak trees ahead. The sky is deep blue.

The trail up the mountain is climbing up and between rocks. Most of the rocks are at least knee high or higher. There are two big boulders with a skinny rock step passage (the trail) between. Above is another huge boulder with bushes below and blue sky above.

Near the top. Three hikers are climbing to the top of the trail (the top of the mountain would require you to climb huge rocks and is quite dangerous...one person has died). One is at the top, the other two are lower and closer to me. There are two benches at the top.

The view from the top. I am sitting on the top bench looking down at the lower bench, some vegetation and the vast view beyond which is a green valley and more mountains in the background. It's a very hazy day, so the view is not the best.
