Spring blue skies with the odd stratus cloud floating East. Black Combe glows ochreous-orange in the far Western Lakes sitting lump-like above the new green of the lowland hills. A retreating high tide takes all these colours away to the distant Irish Sea.

Despite it's name, 'Black Combe' shines pink and orange in the early spring sunshine that's finally arrived in the South Western Lake District. Winter browns are beginning to turn green on the horizon between a watery blue sky and a similarly, pale blue sea.
