I found this seax blade in my scrap pile the other day and, despite a few days, cannot figure out why I threw it in there. It was heat treated, fully shaped and perfectly straight. So I fixed it up and it's pretty much done.

Had another day in the shop before we are open full-time for the season. My co-worker and I got the other plate for the wafer iron welded and both have been hammered out thinner. Just need to trim the edges, carve the decoration on the plates, and assemble the tongs together.
