The Handmaid’s Tale – Season 6 [2025] on Crave / Hulu The final season of Hulu’s The Handmaid’s Tale gives you hope, both in the show and in life, until you watch the series finale. Pointless. * * * You’ve read my review of the fourth and fifth seasons of this show. My opinions are no secret. But watching the final season, I had hopes for getting an ending that rises to the quality of the first season. That was perfection. And we almost got it. From the rise of the resistance to June getting her revenge and reuniting with her husband. From Serena getting over being completely insane, to Janine finally getting her reward for all the suffering (more suffering this season). The more episodes I watched from this season, the better I felt about where this show is going. In fact, the penultimate episode is the show’s best, if not television’s best. It could have easily served as a satisfying ending to a show that suffered from lots of difficulties. Sadly, somewhere during the making of the season, someone decided “we need an extra episode”. And that’s when Episode 10 of this season messes everything up. Long dramatic closeups, false promises, illogical and rushed plot lines, creation of additional loose ends, and more. The whole purpose of seasons two to 5 is June trying to get Hanah back. Most of season 6 is June doing things to try to get Hanah. Yet, we end with THAT? To be honest, the only redeeming quality of the series finale is seeing Janine smile. Thankfully, the creators didn’t manage to mess that one up. The Handmaid’s Tale – Season 6 – Official Teaser ##### Should you watch it? Stop at episode 9. You’ll be happy with the outcome. Don’t bother with episode 10. It feels like Hulu borrowed someone from Sony Pictures to “inspire” them. ##### Where can I watch it?
