I have found out that there is a bricklink seller in Italy that has 502 protodermic Miru Nuvas and they're selling each mask for €1.623. I feel like I've stumbled upon a cursed tome and now I'm baffled. How did they get that many? Why did they get that many? Where did they find that many?

First physical MOC of 2025 using a @socketball.bsky.social mask and @redstargames.bsky.social brain stalk. I may eventually change out the cordak blaster for something handmade, but this is a good start for the year.

First version of the head. the basic shape is down, but the shell has too much orange.
The shell color has been changed, but is still too orange. I'm starting to dislike the empty space around the mouth as well.
Color and mouth revision comparison. The version to the right is definitely what I'm after. There's very little empty space around the mandibles, the bronze shell looks less toy-like and the new mandible parts catch more of the light emitted by the eyes.
The head now rests on a hinge style neck joint.
Sleep deprived spark of creativity demands that I trust the process.
