Flyer for an art show, showing partial views of 3 of the accepted works. One is a book with stems growing out from it, the center one is a book shaped like a heart with small reminders signs in it like “I can’t save the world and I don’t want to”, and the third is a pamphlet style folded parchment book with abstract designs in it. The show is at the View Arts Center in the Adirondacks of NY, and there is an opening reception on May 23 at 5-7pm, and the show runs from May 24 through July 27.
So, I’ve been taking a lot of intensive workshops, practicing new techniques, hitting the workbench, and generally just getting productive once more, and completing a fair number of books-as-object/narrative pieces.
