Front cover of horror novella The Visitor by Sergio Gomez.
Day 30
Last book I read was horror novella The Visitor by Sergio Gomez. I finished it over Christmas and then I got sick and didn't manage to start anything else.

Day 29
Most inspiring character? Honestly, I think I'll skip this one since I can't think of a good answer.

Day 28
Since I tried more romance this year, I did learn that most of the popular romance books, be it historical, contemporary or fantasy, simply don't do it for me because I prefer romance as a side plot rather than the main focus.

Day 24: a book that makes me want to travel
I read this cute little YA romance (ish) book this year which takes place in Ireland, and yep. I really want to go to Ireland! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 23: a book with a beautiful cover
Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson has a pretty cover! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 22: a book I wish I could live in/be a part of
I rarely want to actually live in the worlds I read about, when it comes right down to it! They are usually some really rough places. But I could handle the small coastal town in Remarkably Bright Creatures! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
I didn't have an answer for Day 20, but here's Day 21: a series I started and plan to continue.
I mentioned this book already, but I LOVED it and will absolutely continue the series. #thiswovenkingdom #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 19: most read genre in 2024
Well, according to my spreadsheet, I categorized TEN books (of my 60 books read) as Fantasy, which was just slightly more than any other genre. Interesting!

Day 18: a series you finished in 2024
I started some. And I read second books. My goal for next year is to finish some series! Wish me luck!
Oh, I did read the whole #Heartstopper series, but there's one more book to come. I will read it this coming year for sure.
#booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 17: re-reads from 2024
I re-read two books this past year: Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell and Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. I loved them both just as much the second time around!

Day 16: a book more people need to read
I'll go with The Measure. I think lots have read it, but if you haven't... do it! It gives one lots to think about. Especially in the world we are living in these days. #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 15: a book I DNFed this year
There are several that I haven't finished, but I still plan to finish them. Does this count? I can't think of one I hated and put down to never pick up again. One I truly hope to finish next year is Story Genius.

Day 2: Top 5 books I read in 2024.

Day 14: a book that was not worth the hype on social media
So, Fourth Wing was not worth the hype at all... imho. I know A LOT of you loved it. And like I said before, I enjoyed the story... but the writing, not so much. It was a frustrating read for me for sure.
#booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 13: a book that need more banging
Um... if this means what I think it means... then maybe A Curse So Dark and Lonely by Brigid Kemmerer... maybe? Lol!
#booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀
Day 12: a book that made me sad/cry
We Were Dreamers by Simu Liu made me cry several times. One of them was in the acknowledgments... don't skip those if you read this! #booksky #Bookwrapup2024 💙📚👀 Anyway, I adored this book... SO MUCH!
Ok I can do number 3 easily. While not an entirely new genre for me in the grand scheme of my reading, the one nonfiction book I read in 2024 was The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt
Day 1
#bookwrapup2024
Oh this just tells me that I should be documenting my reading habits more. But I’ll try to answer a few of these periodically #bookwrapup2024
My first book finished this year: #BookWrapUp2024 💙📚
Day 9: Countries visited through the books
The US, UK and the Bahamas if I'm excluding all the fantasy/sci-fi worlds lol. I don't remember the other names to begin with
