I think it's just that they're comfortable and grew up with the non-stop information barrage that came with the dawn of cable news. Add SM to that in early adulthood (or in vitro for the zoomers) and you have cohorts who just "get" it. Cable news, breaking news paradigm is 100% #boomerland
