Israel involvement: Ireland's Eurovision entry Emmy hopes contest can be 'escape from reality' The 24-year-old Norwegian singer is preparing to take part in the competition in Basel this week amid calls for Israel to be expelled.

It's fairly clear that some artists are just in it for themselves and their personal glory. They really don't seem to give a damn about tens of thousands of innocent Palestinians being butchered live on our screens..
