Duolingo will “gradually stop using contractors to do work that AI can handle,” according to an all-hands email sent by co-founder and CEO Luis von Ahn announcing that the company will be “AI-first.” The email was posted on Duolingo’s LinkedIn account.

I can’t say that i remember much, but Im certainly trying.

and fwiw, im using the free version and its not great (compared to the paid version).

But after they switched to an AI heavy format and fired a lot of their employees i can’t continue to support them financially.
