๐ Brahminy starling (Sturnia pagodarum) The Brahminy starling, also known as Brahminy myna, is a small bird with a pale buff plumage, a black cap, and a loose crest. The adult male (pictured) has a more prominent crest and longer neck hackles than the female. Juveniles are duller and the cap is browner. Brahminy starlings are highly social and vocal birds, often seen in large flocks. These birds are typically found in dry forest with marshy areas, but are also found in urban areas.
