The Brandenburg Gate, a large marble archway with multiple columns, with scaffolding blocking the center two columns and large construction cranes visible just behind it.
The bronze sculpted chariot that normally sits atop the gate is seen at street level on a flatbed truck bed, being hooked up to straps. Two workers stand in the chariot, looking kind of like little people due to the scale of the sculpture.
The bronze chariot sculpture hangs in midair from one of the cranes as it is lifted into place.
The chariot being settled back into place at the top of the Brandenburg Gate.
Our group just happened to be in the right place at the right time to see the sculpture on top of the Brandenburger Tor getting put back in place after being cleaned and restored.
