#BraveNewSpirits Grain Blend Palate: spicy arrival, golden syrup, orange zest & a drying icing sugar. The vanilla / popcorn grain background but there's added berries, cherries & a hint of cask char.
Finish: wood spice, berries, orange zest & a little smoke.
Easily my favourite of the set. Grain 💔

Cameronbridge & North British Grain Blend, Voodoo - Coven of the Red Veil, mid gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as a thin line, bead up quickly & fall as fast thin legs
Nose: cherries & berries to start, some plum, apricot and vanilla. There's marzipan, caramel & some dried fruit

#BraveNewSpirits Ardmore Palate: BBQ pineapple, orchard fruit, dry icing sugar and ginger spice. Lemon Bon Bons, plum skins and a little salinity.
Finish: smoke, spice and tropical fruit.
A lovely dram, my favourite so far!

Ardmore 8yo, Voodoo The Smoking Curse, light gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as a thin line leaving hanging beads which take a while to fall as slow thin legs.
Nose: gentle smoke, toffee, peanut butter and orange zest. Plum and grape notes with a little salinity.

#BraveNewSpirits Bunna Palate: thick, sweet arrival that rolls into thick smoke. A little salinity, cherries and some dark chocolate. Dried apple and orange zest.
Finish: smoke, salinity and more smoke.
Lovely dram!

Nose: thick smoke, tropical fruit, some salinity and a hint of Glacier Cherries. Fresh apple. some dried seaweed, honey and rum & raisin ice cream.

Bunnahabhain 11yo, WhiskyHeroes The Unpronounceable, light gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as a thin line, hang around for a while then fall as slow thick legs.

#BraveNewSpirits Palate: mouthcoating arrival, a little sour & a lot of herbal notes. Dry apricot skin, red apple & some dried spice. A little salinity & smoke rounds things off.
Finish: dry spice, smoky salinity and a hint of red berries. I wasn't keen on this one, too many strange herbal notes.

Blended Malt 19yo mid gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as thin lines, bead up and fall as slow thin oily legs.
Nose: apple Danish, ripe bananas and a little toffee. A little lemon curd, herbal hints and a little dunnage funk. A hint of smoke maybe?

#BraveNewSpirits Tulli Palate: immediately spicy: ginger and pepper. Lots of orange marmalade, hazelnuts, vanilla ice cream and dark chocolate. A few more sips offer lemon zest, honey and toffee brittle.
Finish: Lemon zest, ginger spice and vanilla ice cream. Lovely dram!

Tullibardine 12yo orangy gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as a thin line, bead up, hang around for a while and fall as slow thin legs.
Nose: stewed orchard fruit, vanilla, and caramel. There's some berry hints, spicy marmalade and a little icing sugar.

Whisky of Voodoo - Coven of the Red Veil. Palate. Again quite dry on the palate, with notes of raspberry, and relatively light smoke. There is pepper on the very tail of finish but it is very light. #BraveNewSpirits @thewhiskywire.bsky.social #Scotch #Whisky
