#BrawlInCellBlock99 is a prime example of a film that's WAY too long and tries WAY too hard to be something more than what it actually is: prison exploitation trash. And Don Johnson seemed to be the only one in the film who got that given how much he hams it up. 📽️🎞️

I guess it's just some sort of morbid curiosity why I bothered to watch #BrawlInCellBlock99 given that I did not get what's the big deal about Bone Tomahawk, and Dragged Across Concrete genuinely made me angry for having wasted so much time watching it... 📽️🎞️

Man, #BrawlInCellBlock99 is easily one of the more violent, depressing, verging on nihilistic films I've seen in a bit, & I highly recommend watching. Show's Vaughn's impressive range, & the consequences of choice, both good & ill. Brutal, realistic action scenes too. 4/5🥊
