Picture shows a large, sort-of triangularish stone maybe 8 inches thick (but irregular thickness) and maybe seven feet long (over 2 metres) propped up on some smaller triangles standing a couple of feet from the ground and with gaps between them. There is a dip or hollow in the ground under the big stone. It stands on a piece of mown grass and the whole area is surrounded by a low fence. There is an information board behind the whole thing telling you about it. It is maintained by English Heritage. It is a very small site. There is room to park three or four cars. The road there from Bredenbury is mostly narrow and steep.

Arthur's Stone near Hereford. The 5,000 year-old chamber is made of 9 upright stones, with a large capstone estimated to weigh over 25 tonnes. Accessed through side of the covering mound. A false entrance perhaps provided a visual focus for ceremonies. #Hereford #ArthursStone #Bredenbury
