My lifer Brewer's Sparrow - out in the grasslands near Tide Lake, Alberta.

I was soooo lucky with this bird. In spite of the very windy conditions I got many audio recordings of this bird, who landed right in front of the recorder!

The bird of the day is the Brewer's sparrow. I took these just this morning. Apparently it is exceedingly rare to see one of these in Florida. But today we did. #birds #brewerssparrow #sparrow

This might look like just another #Sparrow… but it’s not! It’s a #BrewersSparrow and it’s a rarity for #MontereyCounty. It was also a lifer for me and seeing it really made my day.
