The album cover is a photograph in the evening, closely cropped, of the exterior of an adult store. Neon signs left and right read "Adult videos" going downwards, and the word "Books" along with the bottoms of other unclear images is just visible along the top. The adult store has a plain door covering half the entrance and on it is written the title of the album: "Brit Hop And Amyl House". The remaining half is open but obscured due to long slats of material hanging down to prevent anyone simply peeping inside the premises. The overall texture of the photo for this album cover is faded with low contrast, as if a colour photo was printed in an old newspaper.

A hip hop loving pal of mine took me along to watch Marxman playing in a small club in Edinburgh in '93. Was not exactly knowledgeable of the genre but they won me over. Danced all night.
