I have officially moved back upstairs! My family room can soon be put back together! Grateful we had the extra bed to set up for my convalescence BUT cannot wait to get a restful sleep for the 1st time in 3 mths! I’m making great progress with physiotherapy, slow & steady.💪🏼

Update 13 Weeks/ 93 Days since my accident #BrokenBack
I have now progressed to walking 2 blocks, but not without an achy back and have only done it once so far.
I can do the stairs 4x a week now (up & down) so my hopes for moving back to my own bed upstairs are slightly delayed.

Day 63 with a #BrokenBack …
This has really taken a toll on my mental health. Progress is slow, physio is not consistent for a variety of reasons, 1st being pain from a previous day’s physio, 2nd My TN pain/migraines.
Today is a good day so am hoping to be upright more & get physio in!🤞🏼

#BrokenBack two mths today! Was able to do physio 3 days in a row. Skipped day 4&5 due to migraine/TN pain . Today did the stairs so I could shower! So resting now with ice pack.
Hopefully back to physio tomorrow. Still sleeping on main floor, can only do stairs 1x a week.

Finally get to see my GP today, 5 wks after my accident/ #BrokenBack . Hoping for direction on healing/recovery as I’ve had to ‘wing it’ all this time. Health care in #Alberta 😔 not impressed.
