So much effort has gone into cleaning up the city for the NFL Draft. In the future, I'm hoping that even a fraction of that energy will translate into people maybe thinking twice before they litter in the first place(?)

After several requests in person and calling his office, Council member Coghill sent a cleanup crew to Shawhan Avenue + Brookline Boulevard this past week. They picked up a lot of trash -- not only along the street, but deep into the brush. As a close neighbor, I'm grateful.

I spoke at this afternoon's #PittsburghRegionalTransit hearings on how proposed cuts to PRT's service will affect PGH. Living in #BrooklinePGH on the #DormontPA line, it's difficult to grasp that BOTH of the #bus lines that serving neighborhood (#39 and #41) are slated for possible cancellation.
