I’m telling ya; this a campy charmer. There’s also a *reaaaally* clever solo dance routine almost smack dab at the center of this thing. Phenomenal filmmaking kinda stuff.

Correct! Jiji was my favorite character from all the Studio Ghibli movies we watched last year for #BrosephMovieClub.

I found Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo to be a charming snapshot of 1980s filmmaking. Tons of joy captured here and a lot of young performers having the time of their lives.

If The Umbrellas of Cherbourg is all singing, little dancing, then Breakin’2 is all dancing, little singing

This was a, lovely, sweet movie that is visually stunning! The colors, the textures, the people, all gorgeous! Took me a little bit to get used to the way they sing everything, but by the end, I was into it and I still hear the final music in my head! Lovely. #brosephmovieclub
