In 1866 Congress created 6 regiments comprised of Black Americans who became known as the #Buffalosolider
At that time there was only 36 United States!
The name Buffalo soldier came from the Apache and Cheyenne.
They saw action out West in Cuba, Mexico, the Philippines and Hawaii.
