Today, Minister Rob Flack announced the City hit 85% of our 2024 housing start goal — and will receive $3.69M through the #BuildingFasterFund. Thanks to Minister Flack for visiting Guelph and bringing us this exciting news.

6/9 Meanwhile, the government's Building Faster Fund distributed just $280 million in 2024 after more than half of Ontario municipalities failed to hit housing targets. By October 2024, only 11 of 50 municipalities had reached their annual benchmarks.
