2+ year-old male brown eastern cottontail bunny with his mouth open for a small slice of apple I'm feeding him standing on green moss and brown leaves. Eggplant is a special bun. He's the most docile male I've ever seen and the ladies love him for it. He's also the 1st male to ever overwinter in our yard. He did it in 2025 and he's here again! Such a treat to see him and know he's safe. While he's nice to the does, he must be pretty rough with the competing bucks to have his ears so "tattered." That's what made me think of the song used in the YT Short video in caption and comment. Which is on the album "Into the Gap" released OTD 42 years ago!
