Hmm. I disagree. Shows tend to come in waves. GMMTV (who made #MySchoolPresident) are very much still there, and have recently produced some more interesting and even groundbreaking BL dramas - like #BurnoutSyndrome. Even their regular BL programming is going in new directions.

I liked how messily human the characters were. My main gripe is that the show raised some core issues around AI/capitalism vs art and then artfully (literally) avoided actually dealing with it. Which makes it pretty, but also a bit shallow. #burnoutsyndrome #thaibl

I finished #burnoutsyndrome . I really enjoyed the sensory experience of it. The acting, the visuals, and how it dared to be silent for long stretches of time. No blasting music or soundeffects, just the sound of surroundings and things. How the use of music was very deliberate. #thaibl

Un BL original, avec un ton plus mature que d’habitude. J’ai adoré la cinématographie et les musiques qui transposaient parfaitement les émotions.

I need to scream about how good #BurnoutSyndrome was. I cannot get over how doo Off was! Gun is always fantastic & really did well. Dew, I fell for him & what did they put in AJ's water for that acting scene. Just incredible! Loved the script & art too!

I felt the ending was too rushed. Koh never repented or apologised, and mh, Jira watching Koh sleep in the car was a bit creepy

I really liked the series, both the photography and the themes it addressed

- I can't believe that Jira and Koh got back together thanks to Pheem
The final hug was very sweet, it really felt like goodbye.
